[My mom [Amy Burris][GE Healthcare, Global Marketing Engineer][10 years]]
[got recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer]
[and it was a shock to the whole family.]
[There was no risk factors in our family. ]
[And--you know--she just suddenly got a pain]
[and went to the doctor--we just thought it was nothing,]
[you know--it was something different, something else--]
[and got 2 different images done. ]
[She had an ultrasound and a contrast CT]
[were warning signs that this was something more serious.]
[And I honestly believe that that really helped save her life]
[because, with that imaging technology, ]
[she was able to get the surgery. ]
[They did find it was cancer. ]
[Luckily, it did not spread and we are so thankful for that. ]
