[We localize our technology using partnerships, ]
[so the Qatar science and technology park presents a great opportunity for GE,]
[where we're going to basically localize technology, localize training, ]
[and localize services using this simple contention.]
[In the Qatar science and technology park we're going to have the Qatar advanced]
[technology and research center.]
[The three big activities are research and development, technical training, ]
[and advanced services in the healthcare sector.]
[Our oil and gas engineers are going to be looking at our turbo emission technology]
[and taking this technology to be more efficient and more environmentally friendly.]
[With our GE water division, we're working with Conoco Phillips,]
[and we're establishing actually a water sustainability center to do research]
[and to work at reuse in the petro chemical and the hydrocarbon industry.]
[GE Aviation and GE Energy will have a technical training center. ]
[GE Aviation will be able to train the maintenance crews,]
[not only from Qatar Airways, but also from regional airlines]
[on our CF680 engine, and we will be adding more of our modules and engines]
[as we go along in the development of this center.]
[In heathcare, we'll have a center where we will be able remotely to access]
[our diagnostic imaging, the CTs, and our MRIs that are around the region]
[and we'll be able to diagnose and do repairs from the center here.]
[In addition, we will have training on some of our information technology platforms]
[that are used in the hospitals.]
[The world's renown universities that are opening in Qatar will be key to]
[Her Highness' vision of innovation here,]
[and GE will be looking at collaborating with these universities. ]
[This will not only bring benefit to Qatar itself, but also to the neighboring countries]
