[[Sigmund Frigstad] You know portable ultrasound for years ]

[has been a dream of many clinicians.]

[They want to take the technology of ultrasound and take it to the patient bedside.]

[[Kjell Kristoffersen] These scans will give the doctor an ability]

[to quickly take a look at something inside the body.]

[Today we can only feel or listen with his stethoscope. ]

[Vscan changes that.]

[[Sigmund Frigstad] 4D technology has been instrumental in developing Vscan.]

[[Kjell Kristoffersen] 4D ultrasound is when you can look at the 3-dimensional images]

[of an organ in real time.]

[[Al Lojewski] 4D ultrasound has really helped us technologically move that miniaturization]

[that was required to make 4D a reality, and we've leveraged that technology]

[into our pocket-size Vscan device.]

[[Sigmund Frigstad] Our target with Vscan is really to have a quick look into the body.]

[We have designed it to be very easy to use.]

[We have very few buttons on the device.]

[When you open it up, it automatically goes into scanning mode.]

[[Al Lojewski] Vscan will change the way that doctors look at patients.]

[He can see what is really going on, and that will make him much more confident]

[in his diagnosis.]

[[Sigmund Frigstad] We believe that Vscan is going to be used ]

[by the vast majority of physicians,]

[whether that's cardiologists or primary care physician or an emergency room in Africa.]

[We really hope that this is going to truly change the way all physicians worldwide ]

[interact with their patients because of the ability to take a look and really understand]

[what's going on inside the body and the immediacy right in your pocket.]
