[[Voice over] Hello, this is Chris Lewis.]

[I'm the driver with Landstar Ranger who's ]

[bringing the wind blade to the GE headquarters in Schenectady, New York.]

[It's Thursday evening, August 20, ]

[and I've been been at the plant at TPI in Newton, Iowa, ]

[and just got the blade loaded on the trailer, got everything chained down,]

[flagged up, and I'm pulling out into the--]

[pulling out of the plant and going and staging at the parking lot here near Interstate 80.]

[And then we're going to call it an evening at hit the road tomorrow.]

[I'll check in with you later.]

[It's Thursday afternoon, just had a little bit of excitement. ]

[There was a railroad bridge that we had to go under.]

[The bridge was marked 13'8", and I guess because of the--you know--]

[I'm so long, I'm 160 feet long, and the roadway made a dip down under the bridge,]

[but we were very, very close.]

[I came to a complete stop and just crept forward ]

[and had my other pilot cars come up and watch--]

[I wouldn't have wanted to stick my hand under there, ]

[but not to worry, we got it under safely; nothing was hit or anything, ]

[[laughs] but it was definitely a little bit of a jar--you know--]

[wondering what in the world, why would they have routed us this way if the bridge was that low.]

[But we made it, everything's good to go.]

[We traveled 401 miles today.]

[And when we pulled into the parking lot, we had a bunch of onlookers ]

[watching us get off the highway.]

[We had to go into a parking lot that we found alongside the roadway and do a big circle,]

[and had a bunch of onlookers watching that ]

[and then pull in and ask some questions about the blade and were very interested in it.]

[Once again, it's very neat to haul this blade down the road and tell people about it.]

[It's Saturday morning, August 22.]

[Just got in the truck and got going from Warsaw, Indiana,]

[and started out the morning walking around, checking the load out, ]

[making sure all the chains are tight, straps are tight, and wipe the truck down;]

[we had a pretty good rain shower last night, so got it all cleaned up.]

[So everybody will at least like the way it looks. ]

[Had a lot of people looking at the load. ]

[Up in this area people don't see a whole lot of blades, so it is getting a lot of attention;]

[a lot of thumbs up, a lot of people driving up alongside, ]

[slowing down and having video cameras and taking photos as they drive by.]
