[We've officially made it. It's Day 30 of our road trip. ]

[We're at AWEA, the world's largest wind energy conference in Dallas, Texas.]

[We're standing outside the GE booth here at AWEA.]

[Behind me, you can get a good idea of what]

[a wind turbine is actually made of. ]

[There's a hub, that's directly behind me over here to my left, ]

[and also, throughout the booth, ]

[there's information on how wind energy works,]

[how it affects the power grid, ]

[and how it will be a part of America's energy future. ]

[Along the way, we've had the opportunity]

[to meet the people who are directly impacted by wind technology. ]

[We've talked to policy makers, workers who actually build turbines-- ]

[including the blade we've trucked through this country.]

[We've climbed turbines, ]

[talked to the technicians that keep those turbines running, ]

[We've visited the world's largest wind farm. ]

[We've ridden in a helicopter. ]

[We've even stuck our camera outside a high-speed vehicle ]

[to capture the blade moving on the highway.]

[We've been a little too close to a train.]

[We've had terrible--but obvious-- weather reports.]

["Larry, how would you describe today's weather?"]

[ "Windy!"]

[And we've even met the next generation.]

[The people--the kids--who will likely benefit the most]

[from this-- wind technology. ]

[And I can honestly say, at the end of this trip, ]

[we've seen the full power of the wind.]

[It's a power which comes as much from Mother Nature]

[as it does from the people who work everyday]

[to bring this technology into our lives.]

[And the consumers who actively seek out clean energy]

[and want to be a part of America's energy future.]
