[have today, and as a designer I think it's very important]
[The WattStation is a new way to]
[provide energy and it's designed as a]
[small, soft, and friendly dispenser of ]
[electricity that would be facing you as a user,]
[but in a way that is very much about service.]
[We created a very smooth and continuous shape]
[that has a larger service area]
[The surfaces smoothly meet the ground.]
[Snow won't stay on, or rain will slide off. ]
[There's a lot of needs for people to ]
[Let's say I'm driving around, and I need to know whether the station]
[is available to charge my car, is in use, ]
[so we have a ring of LEDs that will change colors--]
[red or green depending on whether it is available and functioning or not. ]
[The WattStation has a very particular unique function,]
[so we wanted it to be sort of its own icon.]
[The collaboration with GE was very exciting because]
[we are really working together as a team]
