[[Ashley Lester] Today we're at our sixth annual Clean Air Fair]

[right here in the wonderful Brewery District in downtown Columbus, Ohio. ]

[[Ashley Lester, Middle Ohio Regional Planning Council] ]

[This week is actually National Air Quality Week, which is great. ]

[So our mission is just to get the word out to Americans, especially central Ohio]

[and on, things they can do to reduce their exposure to air pollution. ]

[The more power something takes, the harder it's--]

[like if you turn this on. >>Oh, wow! [laughs] ]

[[Ashley Lester] The Clean Air Fair is great. ]

[We're educating all of our downtown employees on simple]

[ways to reduce air pollution, so we're glad to have the GE wind blade here today. ]

[The expression I've heard from everyone walking in is, "I had no idea]

[they were that big."]

[So I think it's just raising awareness about what all goes into manufacturing those. ]

[I had no idea it was this big. ]

[[Jennifer Fuller, Columbus, Ohio Resident] You know, we're on a train, ]

[it's down the way, it's like, "Oh look, there's six of them."]

[I had no idea they were this big, so it's kind of cool. ]

[I didn't realize I was that far away from it. ]

[[Michael B. Coleman, Mayor of Columbus, Ohio] That's a big blade. ]

[It's enormous.]

[I didn't realize how big they were until I actually]

[saw one up close. ]

[Quite impressive. ]

[It's good for the planet right now for renewable energy]

[and wind energy source.]

[I'm glad it stopped here in Columbus]

[so that we can all see, touch, and feel it and]

[see what this is all about. ]

[You're now in the center of all things green.]

[You get it? >>Yes, sir. ]

[All right, there you go, in the center of all things green. ]

[[chatter, laughter]]

[[Ashley Lester] With things like renewable energy, obviously the emissions are]

[much lower, if nothing, so anything we can do to ]

[spread the word to what we can do to help that cause, we're all about it.]

[[April Kasun, Sales Manager, Watt Works] I just feel like it's the smart thing to do, ]

[the right thing to do--to try to look at other ways]

[to power our lives. ]

[So, for me, it's almost like if I can get you to save and I'm saving]

[then eventually more people will save. ]

[[Ashley Lester] It's important to me individually and professionally, but]

[I'm passionate about keeping the central Ohio community]

[educated about things we can all do. ]

[It doesn't have to be a lot. ]

[Riding your bike to work one day a week or changing out a lightbulb. ]

[It's simple steps, and I think if we all do it we can make a big difference. ]

[I think it fits one piece of the puzzle.]

[It's clean, it's renewable, it's sustainable, ]

[so how can we get it here in Columbus?]

[We need some more wind. [laughs] ]

[All right, so you've seen the Clean Air Fair here in Columbus, Ohio. ]

[I am powering these lights behind me]

[and I've been told I can't stop]

[until you go to facebook.com/ecomagination. [facebook.com/ecomaginaton]]

[So go, please. ]

[How much longer?]
