[[Charles Boblett] When you think of a warehouse you think of a small area, ]
[but this is spread out over about 50 acres, ]
[and you can almost get lost in here if you're not careful.]
[I've been with GE--this is my 37th year.]
[The old lighting, that was more like working under spotlights.]
[This lighting is more uniform, you can read the barcodes better.]
[[Ishon Lee] My name is Ishon Lee, ]
[and I was involved in execution of our relamping initiative across GE Industrial.]
[When we started the whole relamping initiative we looked at 180 facilities globally.]
[And the primary usage is in utilities, in the lighting.]
[So if we are able to reduce the amount of energy that we're using in that lighting, ]
[not only are we going to see a substantial amount of energy savings,]
[we're going to see a substantial amount of greenhouse gas reductions.]
[[Vicki Cline] We come in at early hours.]
[The lighting is quite crucial in waking up and getting motivated to start your job each day.]
[I'm assembler in Building Five.]
[And now with these new lights, ]
[we've got plants growing on some of the work stations, people feel good about their jobs.]
[[Ishon Lee] When we first did the relamping, some of the remarks were, ]
["Oh my gosh, this is great!"]
[People were very excited about seeing change.]
[Ultimately, it's about ecomagination.]
[It's about being able to reduce greenhouse gases as well as, ]
[from a plant standpoint, seeing a significant amount of energy savings.]
