[(Mark Little) I think the whole space around electric vehicles and supporting ]
[great infrastructure is really here now, it's just going to get a lot better.]
[The technology is there. You're starting to see electric vehicles, hybrid-electric ]
[vehicles come out. I've got one myself. I'm very excited about using it. I'm learning ]
[how all the technology works. I think it's a very exciting time for us. ]
[(Deb Frodl) Thinking that you could actually power your home for a couple of days]
[through your car is a really amazing connectivity that we haven't had before.]
[ So you can put that power from the battery back to the grid, or you can put it back]
[into your home and use it like a generator. (Little) We're going to invest in ]
[the technology to make it very robust, very reliable, and very, very easy to use. ]
[(Andrew Reid) What we have here is a GE wall-mount watch station, and right now ]
[we have it plugged into the Nissan Leaf, supplying energy, charging it. ]
[This can charge your vehicle in approximately 8 to 12 hours depending ]
[on the size of your battery, maybe less. (Little) Today you can go to the store]
[and buy GE appliances that have the ability to connect up to a home device]
[that we and others make. Our device is called the Nucleus. It allows you to look at]
[energy flows around your home. It allows you to turn your appliances on and off]
[at times that are good for energy use. It will apply to electric vehicles as well, so it's]
