[[Meeta, Systems Analyst] I work as a systems analyst in the aviation business for GE.]
[I was offered a job by GE on campus, ]
[and joined here in July, 2008. ]
[I work on a very unique and interesting project ]
[which involves building a simulation model to ]
[estimate the maintenance cost of aircraft engines.]
[There's a great amount of ownership and responsibility that is instilled]
[in every employee, right from an entry-level person. ]
[Working with GE has helped me develop as a person]
[and as a professional in many ways. ]
[I've also been able to contribute to the organization through]
[the women's network, which has really honed my leadership skills.]
[The one piece of advice that I would give anyone wanting to join]
[GE, would be to develop strong]
[fundamentals and, more importantly, come in]
[with an open mind to observe all that GE has to offer. ]
[You have the opportunity of meeting researchers, scientists, ]
[and engineers, working on cutting-edge technology ]
[and redefining what's possible.]
[So, that's the best part of working out of a center like this in India. ]
