[business relationships that eventually ]
[will turn into personal relationships, ]
[and they will be long-lasting]
[relationships throughout all your career. ]
[I'm a different person than I was before.]
[I know much more about our markets, ]
[about our customers, about our company.]
[But, on the other hand, I will also know ]
[there are a lot of more things that I'm going to learn]
[The biggest lesson I've learned at GE is that]
[There's always things to discover. ]
[There's always things that we]
[they turn out to be different. ]
[When you go around the world and you are talking]
[ talking to governments and they know about]
[what GE has done around the world, what products]
[we have brought to the market, that makes you proud of]
[It also gives you a response--some degree of responsibility.]
[You've got to act, wherever you go and ]
[whoever you talk to, whichever constituency]
[you interact with, you've got to ]
[and translate those values into the interactions. ]
[The ECLP is an important program]
[required, at this point in our career,]
[to enter a business and to make an impact]
[Having been in very short rotations]
[lasting for 6 months in which we had to deliver]
[in a very short time frame, that has taught us]
[understand the market very quickly, or at least]
