[[Hector] I am a master scheduler for seven production lines ]
[here at the plant in Monterrey, Mexico.]
[I just schedule the orders from the customers, [Hector - Master Scheduling & Customer Service]]
[and I check the demand and the capacity of the machines,]
[the human resources, and the material availability.]
[We produce small motors for forklifts or golf carts, ]
[and we have the big motors like these sets.]
[So first I did an internship in the lean manufacturing department.]
[And then I changed to environment, health and safety as an EHS coordinator.]
[So I have 3½ years working for GE.]
[[Yolanda] I've been here for a year-and-a-half.]
[[Yolanda - X-ray Line Manufacturing Engineer] My average day will start with a stand up meeting,]
[and we check every day issues, and we also work very close with the quality team]
[so we can perform our work better.]
[My favorite part about working at GE is that I get to make a difference.]
[and I'm the lean manufacturing leader for the Monterrey Motors plant.]
[[Susana - Lean Manufacturing Leader] Lean manufacturing is about making every process leaner, ]
[so we have to find ways to make our plant more cost efficient, more safe, better quality.]
[It's like football--it's 80% mental and 20% physical.]
[It needs to be 80% on the floor and 20% on the desk.]
[[Yolanda] GE provides you the tools and the training and you just need to do the effort.]

[and you can learn about processes.]
