Our engineering graduate program is designed to develop the skills, knowledge and abilities of exceptional engineering graduates to ensure the talent pipeline for our growing Oil and Gas business. As part of our EGP, graduates will work alongside senior members within one of our major Oil and Gas teams in a 2 year rotational program.

Subsea – Engineering
As a Subsea engineering graduate at GE you will complete rotations within Systems Engineering, Subsea Trees and Wellheads, Hydraulic and Electrical Production Control Systems and Manifolds and Connection Systems.
Subsea – Drilling and Production Services
Being a graduate on our drilling and production services team will expose you to the ‘hands-on’ side of engineering. If you think you would enjoy troubleshooting, offshore engineering, after sales service, engineering applications and commercial operations this is the team for you to join. Working alongside your manager graduates can expect to complete rotations in workshop operations, sales, commercial operations and integrated services.
Subsea – Commercial Engineering
The graduate program within our Subsea Commercial Engineering team affords an exciting entry-point for customer-focused Engineering and Commerce graduates who want to be exposed to the dynamic world of front end engineering and design. As a graduate you will work alongside our team of industry experts to establish network links to secure world leading projects for GE. Graduates complete six month rotations across four areas; Subsea Trees Engineering, Subsea Controls Engineering, Manifolds and Connections systems and Commercial Operations (Costing, Scheduling, Legal and Contract review).
TurboMachinery Project Execution
This program is designed for graduates with Mechanical and/or Electrical backgrounds who have an interest in turbo machinery and rotating equipments such as gas turbines, compressors, motors, controls systems and the like. With the support of your manager, graduates complete rotations in project engineering, quality, global services and project management.
Global Services
Our global services graduates are exposed to four rotations within ITO/OTR processes and practices, contracts performance management, quality and project engineering. This area of our business is suited to graduates from mechanical or electrical degrees and those who want to develop operational skill sets for client sites that could see your career take any of the following paths – engineering, sales or marketing.
Supply Chain/Sourcing
Graduates within Supply Chain/Sourcing play a key role in the day to day running of our global supply chain function. As a graduate at GE, you can expect to be working on the largest EPC subsea projects in the country. This unique gateway into our Oil and Gas resource sector exposes graduates to supply contracts, sourcing, inventory, logistics, supplier quality, fabrication and subsea equipment. Rotations available include:
• Sourcing
• ITO Sourcing/Sub-Contracts
• Supplier Quality
• Materials and Logistics
Intake: up to 12 Graduates Annually
To be considered for the EGP we’re looking for people with:
• Relevant engineering degree (double degree highly regarded for Subsea Commercial Engineering)
• Interest in a career working within our Turbo Machinery and/or Subsea teams
• Ability to work from our Perth offices and locations
