Based in Algiers, Algeria, Touffik is responsible for leading GE’s growth in Algeria and Morocco.
Prior to GE, Touffik was at Alstom where he was the Vice President for North Africa and Near East for Alstom’s power sector.
Touffik began his career within the Ministry of Finance as a Commercial Attaché in the French embassy in Algeria. In 2004, he joined Alstom as the Country President for Algeria.
Touffik, a native of Limoux, France, holds a Master of Arts in History from Humanities University of Toulouse and a Master of Political Science from University of Social Sciences of Toulouse. He holds a Diplôme D'études Approfondies in Economics and International Relations from Institute of Political Studies in Toulouse.
