Tom is a Senior Managing Director of the GE Licensing business. He is based in Norwalk, CT and has been part of the team since 2013.

Tom leads a team which commercializes GE’s intellectual property across several of its business units, including GE Power, GE Renewables, GE Capital and parts of GE Corporate.  He is also the leader of the GE Trademark business, which works with world-class global partners to leverage the GE brand in new products and markets.  

Tom has been with GE for 25 years, starting his career as a graduate of the Manufacturing Management Program (MMP) with assignments in Appliances and Lighting.  In 1996, he joined the Corporate Audit Staff (CAS), where he conducted and led financial, compliance, and process reviews across GE.  After three years of CAS, Tom joined GE Energy, where he held the roles of FP&A Analyst, Finance ERP Leader, and GE Controls Finance Manager.  Since then he has had several finance leadership roles at GE Corporate including CFO of GE Business Innovation. 

Tom is an alumnus of Notre Dame who graduated in 1994 with dual degrees: a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.B.A. in Finance/Operations.
